About Sam Gammon

I’m Sam Gammon, a technologist and serial founder based in San Francisco. James Clark and Sam Gammon are the same person; my work may appear under either name.

I have founded four startups: Momentum Ideas, Bloombox, Buildless, and Elide. I exited Bloombox and have combined company leadership with hands-on software engineering throughout my career. My work includes native runtimes, language tooling, build systems, infrastructure, and product strategy.
